Need air conditioning repair. My 2011 Buick Enclave air conditioning was not functioning properly. Barebones Auto Repair fixed the problem and significantly more reasonable than dealer pricing. Works better now than when new.

Thanks so much for trusting Barebones Auto&Diesel. We're so glad your A/C is working properly. We appreciate the positive review.

Great garage! I had the transmission replaced on my Dodge Caravan. The whole thing was shot and the van would barely move. Replacement was the only option. They got a new transmission in (it was used) and replaced my old one. The new tranny wasn't working right. They found the issue and got it covered by the tranny supplier (no expense to me, of course) and had it fixed the next day. My car was delayed about three days due several other complications with this car, but I don't think it's the garage's fault. The work was great and everything runs perfectly now. My only negative comment is lack of communication. I had to call in for almost all the updates on my car and so knocked off a star.

Chris- Thanks for your positive review. We are working on adding some texting features to our communications, and looking to hire an administrative assistant to help us communicate more effectively with customers too. We appreciate the feedback.

Very professional, friendly, fast, and trustworthy at a great price!! I didn't feel like I was getting the "dumb girl" treatment at all...which was a nice change. He even drove out to meet me where my car died. Great business and great person. Highly recommended.

Yeah, I know, it sounds incredible but I think I've found an honest, reasonably priced, and skilled auto mechanic. The fellow's a certified ASE Master Technician who, as the business name implies, works out of his home's garage. He says he went freelance because he was fed up with the way so many commercial garages unnecessarily maximize service procedures and their costs in order to take advantage of those less-than-mechanically-astute, such as myself. I had a "Check Engine Service" light illuminate on my old Chevy pickup which precluded my getting a state inspection sticker and was dreading a trip to a dealership or independent garage (though I'm certain some are also honest, but which?). After making an easily-arrived-at appointment, he quickly and accurately diagnosed my truck's problem - a failed O2 sensor - and repaired it at what I'm convinced was an entirely reasonable cost. After I'd driven the vehicle for a few miles to reset its monitors, I took it in for its state inspection and it passed with flying colors.
