They are really wonderful! I won a gift certificate for a free oil change and didn't know anything about them. Let me just say, fastest oil change ever! And, as I checked out, the guy said the reason it took "so long" was that they noticed my brake light was out and took it back to fix...free of charge. Very kind of them! The two guys are the front desk are friendly and professional, and one of them popped back to the waiting room to update someone and comment on the G20 Summit that was on TV . I chose to come back for an auto inspection because they are so friendly, and their waiting room has free wifi and a super clean bathroom. What's not to love?

awesome job at a great price I took my Dad's and Mom's Nissan Versa 2009 in great service great price I gave my dad a free inspection because he was service member retired thanks guys I recommend you take your vehicle there

Excellent service! Very friendly and professional. I needed an inspection and had to take my little ones with me. Good prices, they only charge $10 for inspection, free for veterans! Nice waiting room with tv and snack machines. They got me in and out very quickly, I would definitely recommend!

I was charged by their office manager as I was trying to leave. They still had my keys. They continued to scream at me to get out and I continued to demand my keys. Bottom line, I was an unhappy customer who spent 1 hour and 40 minutes waiting on a simple service that typically takes 15 minutes. Im pregnant, considered high risk and have strict times to take my meds. I asked twice what was taking so long and got blown off. I explained I had important meds to take. By the time they were done, the service guy said he ran into some technical issues. I said that was still a long time to wait. He threw the receipt and pen down and told me I wasn't welcome back. The owner agreed with him. They started screaming at me to leave. The service guy called me a very rude name that I won't repeat. The office manager chimed in and started screaming at the top of her lungs. I was shaking and wanted to leave. I told them all they needed to do was be considerate and apologize. I understand getting busy beyond control. I work in a high stress job. But when my clients get impatient I don't scream obscenities. I try to make it right. These people were extremely rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. Do not waste your time!

YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER OF OUR BUSINESS. You are under court order to have a video camera breathalyzer system recalibrate and serviced because you were convicted of a crime. No one at this business charged or assaulted you in any way. The business you are slandering is merely authorized to service your equipment. We are not required to put your appointment, which is not scheduled by our staff, ahead of our customers. You had a negative attitude with our staff. You were asked multiple times to be seated. We explained the delay clearly and calmly. You continued with your attitude. As a result, you are no longer welcome to have your device serviced at our location.

I've been a happy and satisfied customer of Barebones from the very start. Six years later, and I still take my vehicles to John and his crew. The staff are helpful, polite, courteous, and go above-and-beyond to ensure each customer is treated with respect and is able to get in-and-out as quickly as possible. Going to a mechanic is like going to the doctor - you really don't want to go, but you must if you want to keep your car or truck running great. John and his crew at Barebones make the experience as pleasant and painless as possible - at rock bottom prices.

I've never been here as a customer but I had one of their employees ran me off the road causing me to collide with another vechicle and now I'm stuck with the liability of it because they claim no fault since I didn't make contact with the vehicle (when the employee clearly was driving recklessly, causing me to swerve out of the way to avoid being seriously hurt or killed) but the employee did pull over and was very apologetic and wanting to make it right, but of course since you guys are a business you want to be shady. Thanks a lot. I know you guys didn't want to admit fault because you didn't want to pay out but you'll be losing out in other ways. It really sets the tone as a company to take advantage of a situation and screw people over, and now I know not to recomend anyone to you guys or go to you guys. Edit in response to the owner No police were involved (which I regret not calling since your employee was obiviously driving recklessly) and I was going the appropriate speed which was 45 mph. Your employee pulled over and stated he was at fault and didn't see me and apologized. You guys just didn't want corporate according to my insurance company, but that's ok I just know not to recommend you guys. This situation just merely represents you guys as a company

Ravin- How can you review a business you admit you have never used? Both our employee and the longtime customer he was shuttling offered you and the other driver kindness and aid. Both reported to the police and all insurance companies that you and the other driver were the ones speeding and driving recklessly on the service road. It's unfortunate you have chosen to lash out at us regarding your situation. We are not a shady business, and we are merely following the law based on not accepting fault for an incident where we were not involved.

Absolutely incredible experience. My 2001 audi was having a slew of problems including an overheating issue that was estimated at 1500 dollars at other shops. I was able to get all the problems fixed at Barebones for 250 dollars and some change. If the pricing wasn't enough, I got the most knowledgeable and warm welcoming service I have experienced in a very long time. I have been telling all my friends and family to go and I highly recommend this little unknown gem. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

John and his team have been phenomenal every time I have been to Barebones. They are always honest, up front and fairly priced. The shop and waiting room are very nice and clean, too! I have referred several friends and family to them and will continue!

I've been a customer with John since he was working out of his garage. A family member recommended him to me, and I've not gone anywhere since. He's saved me at least twice the amount of money I would have spent otherwise, and he's always been honest. No nickel and diming here, if he tells you there's a problem, you should listen.

Barebones has got to be the BEST. I have now used them for two of my vehicles and I am 120% satisfied. Not only with the amount of respect they give you as a customer in the waiting room, but as a customer that trust them with your vehicle. I went there after seeing all the reviews. I live in Richardson and it is an hour drive, well worth it. They did an amazing job and at a very reasonable price. I have since dropped off another vehicle and will be picking it up tomorrow, repaired and state inspection. Very trusting people and excellent service,
