My car started making a noise after I hit a curb in the rain. I quickly found Barebones Automotive on google and gave them a call. I didn’t need to make an appointment. Due to my schedule, I had to leave it over night and they were able to do a free diagnostic check and find the problem. It turned out to be a loose mudflap which they fixed it with no charge. From my first, the staff was friendly and personable. 10/10 will recommend to all of my friends!

These guys are the best. They are the most honest and efficient mechanics in North Texas. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else. They can do it all from domestic, foreign, to even diesel. They are polite and prompt. I can't say enough great things about this company.

I am a customer since 2013 and I finally got around to leaving a review. I know, shame on me. In 2013, after returning to Denton from the Army, the local Chrysler dealership said I needed to change all my driver side steer arm, brake pads and rotor. I took it to Barebones (they were renting a location at the time) and John the Owner said I just needed to change a ball joint. $400 saving cost. Now my family hv 4 vehicles and we only get them service by Barebones. I recommend them for integrity, professionalism, and being there for my family when we need our vehicles service.

Got my 2003 Camry MT running smoother than it ever did since I bought it 10 years ago, and for a good to average price. They were communicative the entire time, and very friendly, open staff.

They are by far the best around. They are honest and don't try to jack up the bill with needless repairs. Home of the $10 state inspection!
